Your Ideal Pocket Monster Legends: Z-A Super Form According to Your Astrological Sign

This return of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense excitement within the community. From the gradual reveal of fresh additions ahead of the game's release, to trainers forming strong views on the entire lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for enthusiasts to look forward to.

With numerous of the Mega Evolutions boasting unique designs that highlight their traits, one idea naturally: How can connect this with astrology? The following is inspired by a blend of intuition, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.

Aries – Super Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndoom was nearly chosen for this fire sign, as both are the Mega Pokémon and zodiac symbol that evoke the most fear. However, a Mega Houndoom appears as constantly furious, which isn't typical of the Aries vibe, known for being playful, cheerful, and spontaneous. That's why the Ram much more similar to Mega Camerupt, which only erupts when angered. Remain on the friendly side of either and benefit from a strong ally; should you offend them, be ready to face the consequences.

The Bull – Super Heracross

Much like a loyal Taurus, the steadfast Heracross, whether in its standard and Mega form, has assisted numerous players in Legends: Z-A. While dependable, each the creature and a Bull are still Fighting types, and – whether it's their companion or a firm belief – will defend their side to the end. What about Mega Heracross that recalls most of my Bull-sign companions, however, is its unabashed passion for treats. Many previous official descriptions note their craving for sweet tree sap and how it employs its appendage to hoard it everything, which is true Bull-sign vibe.

The Twins – Mega Medicham

Observe this absolute queen. You cannot tell me this creature is not the life of every party, providing an endless fountain of gossip to anyone who wish to hear. Much like an enrapturing, gregarious Twins, it's incredibly simple to imagine Super Medicham mesmerizing an entire open area with their tales. Medicham’s Pokédex entry also mentions its ability to predict an opponent's next moves, which sounds quite similar to a socially-savvy Twins.

Cancer – Mega Manectric

Cancer is widely regarded as the most emotional sign of the astrological wheel, a passionate symbol known for frequently getting absorbed in their emotions. According to the official info, Super Evolution charges the creature with a “huge amount of energy, but it's excessive for this Pokémon to fully manage,” which sounds a lot like a typical Crab emotional outburst. This Pokémon is also known for its ability to make a thundercloud over its own head – and if there’s a single trait a Crab is going to do, it’s spoil their own parade.

The Lion – Super Starmie

Well, did you assume I was going to pick the lion Pokémon for the lion of the zodiac? Aside from the reality that it would be far too obvious, The Lion is clearly Mega Starmie, the star whose gams just became an internet sensation for being too glamorous (or horrifying, depending on your preference). Players were captivated from the violet starfish, and that’s exactly the identical vibe a Lion offers to the table. Starmie is also rumored to be transmitting signals from its red core out into the cosmos, and it’s just like a Leo to be staging a show, even if for extraterrestrials.

The Maiden – Mega Victreebel

The always-ready and perpetually-anxious Maiden is ideally encapsulated in Super Victreebel, the Mega with constant digestive issues. The sign known for being endearingly judgmental is clearly reflected throughout this creature's entire evolutionary chain, from a always shocked face like a Maiden when you inform them you don’t have a 401(k), to its inverted face that’s just like the emoji a Maiden posts to the group chat when everyone says they want to “go with the flow” rather than making a plan.

The Scales – Super Audino

Observe this sweet, empathetic creature, who uses the sensors on its ears to detect how people are feeling by their pulse. Consistently empathetic – sometimes to a detriment – and trying to maintain the peace, there are numerous Libras who would likely benefit from Mega Audino’s abilities. However, let’s be honest, it would likely just cause them to stress more about everyone else.

The Scorpion – Mega Banette

This Ghost-type is a Pokémon with a unexpectedly sad backstory: Discarded as a doll, it became sentient through sheer resentment and vowed retribution on its previous caretaker. According to the official info, Mega Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That sounds precisely like several discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpion acquaintances. A Scorpio adores cosmic justice and comeuppance, making them the ideal pair with Mega Banette.

The Archer – Super Hawlucha

Both Mega Hawlucha and Sagittarians are constantly putting on a show. Being a Sagittarius personally, the amount of times I’ve called myself some version of a “playful little entertainer” is innumerable. The showiest and most attention-seeking Mega Evolution, its description even mentions how it “poses to show off its strength.” I would do the exact same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius match I can imagine.

The Goat – Mega Absol

Were you aware that a Mega Absol has the power to foresee calamities in advance? That exudes the exact same energy as a Goat, who tends to always believe they’re right. Interestingly, similar to a prophetic Mega Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute first Super Form that trainers meet in Legends: Z-A – just like a Capricorn to get in on the beginning of the Super Form craze.

The Water Bearer – Mega Chandelure

Aloof air sign Aquarius is possibly the non-flame placement that is closest to a fire sign – its counterpart is the Lion, and there are numerous jokes about the Archer and Water Bearer being chaotic partners in crime. Mega Chandelure’s double Spirit/Flame category fits perfectly with this, and the Super Form's general daunting presence is also very Aquarius. If you hadn't yet convinced, the Super Form's Pokédex entry says it “absorbs negative energy and converts it into strength.” If that doesn’t exactly {encaps
