Showrunner Vivienne Medrano's boldly transgressive mature musical series, which sprang from a fan-funded short, truly hit its stride in its sophomore season. Building on the climactic events of season 1, the narrative broadens significantly, centering on the ambitious media overlord Vox who takes command of the situation, igniting a chain of increasingly dramatic confrontations that inevitably culminate in elaborate song.

Although it might not have a one breakout song quite like season one's "iconic tune," that's because each element in season 2 being more interwoven. The plot follows Matt Murdock after his dual life as Daredevil is publicly revealed, leaving him a target to foes both history and new threats in a refreshed take of his familiar setting.

Despite being a spoof, the narrative plays out with the grave intensity of a 1970s paranoia thriller.
