Cowboys Defensive Lineman Marshawn Kneeland Dies at 24 Years Old

Cowboys player Marshawn Kneeland has passed away at the age of 24.
The Cowboys selected the Cowboys in the second round of the draft in the 2024 NFL Draft and played 18 times for the team, including four starts.
He recorded his initial touchdown in Tuesday's defeat to the Arizona Cardinals when he recovered a blocked punt.
"He was a cherished team member and part of our family," the Dallas Cowboys said.
"Our thoughts and prayers regarding Marshawn are with his girlfriend Catalina and his family."
Kneeland was selected by Dallas with the 56th overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft after playing college football for Western Michigan University.
His representative, Jonathan Perzley, said his "heart aches" for the passing of a player who "gave his all" into each opportunity.
"I saw him strive his way from a hopeful kid at Western Michigan with a dream to being a respected professional for the Dallas Cowboys," Perzley commented.
The NFL said it is "profoundly grieved" by the news.
