The House Oversight Committee has published a batch of approximately 70 images obtained from the property of former found guilty sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

This constitutes the latest in a series of publication from a tranche of in excess of 95,000 photos the body has acquired from Epstein's estate. It includes photographs of quotes from the novel Lolita written across a woman's body, and obscured images of women's international passports.

This release comes hours before the December 19th due date for the DOJ to disclose each records connected to its probe into Epstein.

"These new photos raise further inquiries about exactly what the DOJ has in its custody," stated the Democratic lead of the panel, Robert Garcia.

What's in the Photos Released

Some of the photographs published on recently feature Epstein in discussion with academic and activist Noam Chomsky inside a private plane; Bill Gates seen beside a female whose features is redacted; Steve Bannon positioned at a workstation opposite Epstein, and ex- Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner gathering.

These are the most recent affluent, influential men to be seen in Epstein's estate images released by the House Oversight Committee - earlier released pictures also include US President Donald Trump and past president Bill Clinton, as well as film director Woody Allen, former US treasury secretary Larry Summers, attorney Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and additional individuals.

Appearing in the images is does not constitute proof of any wrongdoing, and many of the photographed men have said they were not involved in Epstein's unlawful actions.

In a announcement released with the photograph disclosure, Democratic members on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein estate did not provide explanatory details or timings for the pictures.

"Photos were picked to furnish the American people with openness into a typical cross-section of the photographs acquired from the holdings, and to offer perspectives into Epstein's associates and his profoundly alarming actions," the release says.

The disclosure also includes several photos of quotes from the Vladimir Nabokov literary work Lolita inscribed in dark ink across several locations of a woman's body, like her upper body, foot, hip, and spine. Lolita tells the account of a young girl who was manipulated by a older literature professor.

An example of a quote from the work written across a woman's torso states, "Lo-lee-ta: the end of the tongue making a journey of three steps down the roof of the mouth to alight, at three, on the teeth".

There are also a series of photos of women's identification and official papers from countries around the world, such as Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

Most of the details on the documents, such as names and dates of birth, is censored but the panel indicated in a press release that the travel documents are associated with "individuals whom Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators were involved with".

Another photograph shows Epstein seated at a table intimately in the company of three female figures whose faces have been censored - one has her palm on Epstein's chest under his clothing, and a second is bending to examine a nearby device. Epstein can be seen to be aiding the third fasten a bracelet.

Another photo made public is a screenshot of text messages from an unidentified sender who says they have been supplied "several females" and are asking for "$1000 per girl".

Photograph Disclosure Occurs Before DOJ Due Date

The body has many thousands of photographs in its possession from the Epstein holdings, which are "simultaneously graphic and mundane," its statement on Thursday explained.

The House Oversight Committee first subpoenaed the estate of Epstein, who passed away in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while facing trial on accusations of human trafficking, in August.

The photographs and files the Epstein property submitted to the panel are separate from what is commonly termed "the Epstein documents". Those are papers under the Department of Justice's possession connected to its independent probe into Epstein.

Under the recently passed law, which the President made law recently, the DOJ has until the date of 19 December to release its files. The scope of what is contained in the DOJ's documents is unknown, and it's probable that a large amount of the information will be significantly censored, akin to House Oversight Committee materials
